If you have Office on your computer now, I suggest you run the following command to check the activation information.
Search CMD, right-click the Command Prompt and run as administrator. Then copy and paste the command below in it, click Enter at last:

(If you are running 32-bit Office on a 64-bit operating system)

However, I already had the Pro Plus Premium key and was able to install it.
I have to say, Microsoft – Office Pro Plus 2010 SP2 Premium installer does work without any problem. I used it on two computers (windows 8.1) it installed updates, and then without any problem my license has activated.

In addition, I have to say something that has nothing to do with the current Office installation issue.
I personally don’t recommend buying the retail version of MSDNR, as MSDN subscribers are not supposed to be selling the keys from an MSDN subscription.

It does seem to be working now! I’ve reinstalled a couple of times and got a license. Unfortunately, this time I wasn’t successful.. But ofcourse, I’m happy with the product until now! We are a small company and we are depending on MS Office. You need to find a solution for the issue. It sucks!

i have a win7 x64 pro machine, and i try to install the newest office 2018 version (and 2019 as well). i’m trying to do it manually. i have no idea how to do this, but i have the 2016 version, which i know works fine for me. i try to install office 2018, and i get “a required component is not installed” message. i tried to download the one from [url= website[/url], but it doesn’t help at all. i also tried to use “microsoft office offline installer”, but i got the same message. any ideas?
i am having a similar issue. i have the same hp elitebook 820 g2 and installed office 2016 pro plus on it and there is no office 2010 option anymore. i used the windows 10 key i received with the machine to install it and it’s now stuck at office 2019. i’ve tried uninstalling & reinstalling it, but it’s still stuck at office 2019.
i have installed the 2017 version on a new laptop and can use it for a while now. the version installed is office 2019 home and student (product) and not office 365 home and student. when i try to switch the account from office 365 home and student to office 2019 home and student, it appears that the login is not completed and the office 2019 is not activated. i also have the office 365 home and student installed on the same laptop and the login seems to be ok.
