【Locations】
The following are the locations in Tarnished:
1. The Plains: This is an endless, expansive open field where players can enjoy traveling on foot.
2. The Port City: An attractive, bustling town in the middle of the Plains. Players can take various quests from many NPCs in the town.
3. The City of Gold: In this gigantic metropolis, the Merchants Guild and the Adventurers Guild have been holding a tournament for years, along with a variety of other events.
4. The Western Plateau: A vast flat area where there are many dangerous creatures. Although you may encounter dangerous creatures, you can challenge them to a combat if you wish to obtain a resource, a herb or a monster as a reward.
5. The Monastery: A powerful building with a vast courtyard that is home to various monsters. There are also many events that happen in the Monastery, such as a festival that celebrates the Goddess, Eilyn.
【Characters】
There are three main characters in the game: the Tarnished.
1. Taishi: A young man from the Plains. He must band with his companions to awaken the Dragon.
2. Rolf: A Tarnished that looks like a rat. He must decipher a treasure map to find a way to save his sister, Tuki.
3. Tuki: A young woman from the Plains. She loves to read and play the lute, and usually becomes friends with children. She is very easygoing, but she has a sharp tongue, and she can sometimes be a little pushy.
【Weapons】
There are a variety of weapons in the game, and each of them has a different function and style.
1. Dual Blades: A weapon that is swung by both hands. This weapon is a basic weapon. It excels in killing multiple opponents at once, but it is weak against magic.
2. Spear: A weapon swung in a single hand. This weapon is a defense-oriented weapon. It excels at attacking monsters, but it is weak against traps and monsters that can use magic.
3. Dual-Hand Saber: A weapon that is swung in both hands. It is a strong weapon with a very high hit rate, but it is difficult to use against many monsters.

Last week, we got our first look at The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Sourcebook 2 with updated info on both Geralt of Rivia and monsters. Along with seeking knowledge on the mythical beasts the game employs, we also learned some of their relations to classic monsters like vampires and werewolves, how to build a base for a fort, and more.
