I am trying to test this program and when I try and open the setup it says that the OfficeR.exe that was part of the trial is missing. I have uninstalled and re-installed Office 2013 x64 and the officeLR.cab file in the trial is the one that came with the program.

I have a problem with installing the office starter, it keep saying that the OfficeR.exe is missing, and it suggests to get the OfficeR.exe, when I get to the ending it asks me to fix the OfficeR.exe, but when I do it nothing happens, it gets an error saying that I need to reinstall the OfficeR.exe. I was thinking about getting the OfficeR.
This still didnt work. Next up I try to delete the file in hopes that it will reinstall. Well, it didnt. So, when I went to reinstall I couldnt because it says there is a problem with the file. It has to be the office 2007 x64. So I go and download it for 64 bit. I run the installation file and it says no office registered to this computer. I go to the control panel and uninstall office since it is not needed anymore. So here we go. I run the cmd and run it and then reinstall office x64 and it did not work. When I run the office installer I get a message saying : Could not find a file specified, so I know thats working now. I try installing again and it installs it and there you go problem solved.
As a precaution, I right clicked the.cab file and chose to “Unpack the contents of the package…”. Windows Vista does not have the ability to verify CAB files natively. When an Office file is installed by Microsoft Office Installer (MSI), the CAB file in each component is digitally signed. You cannot verify the digital signature on a file and then attempt to install the file using Windows Installer (MSI).
Good morning. I recently purchased a copy of Visio Standard 2013 to work on my PC. I am having trouble loading this. I get this error: “The program cannot find the file Officelr.cab. Please make sure you have installed Office, and that Office is installed on the path specified in the Office LR (OfficeR.exe) setup directory. Installation will fail.”. I have tried several things but nothing works. I am using Windows 7 Home Premium. I have installed Microsoft Office 2013 on my PC, using the CD. What do I do next? Thanks.
I bought this trial version of visio2013 a while ago and have been having problems with the standard office, when I try and run the trial it tells me that there is a problem with the OfficeR.exe not being located in my office directory. I have downloaded Microsoft office and installed it and have copied the OfficeR.exe file from there into the Office directory that the trial was in. All seems to be working fine but then I go back into the trial, open the file menu, click Start running and get the message again telling me that the file is corrupt or damaged.
I just tried this with Visio Standard 2013 Trial version. I followed what you described and at the end of running the setup it said I had an error. When I checked the office folder there was no officeR.exe anywhere.

My target is Windows 7 x64, and I have Office 2013 x64. When I rebooted, the message was “The OfficeR.exe is not installed correctly. Please reinstall the program.”. I then tried and could not find any OfficeR.exe anywhere. Perhaps it was left over from the trial, but I could not find it. Also, I can not find the setup file anywhere. Can you please explain where I can find this? Thanks.
