For the first time in the series, the physics engine has been completely rebuilt. It’s now the most responsive, fluid and believable physics system FIFA has ever had. Using an unprecedented amount of data collected from real-life players playing a full high-intensity football match, FIFA 22 uses “HyperMotion Technology” to drive gameplay.
With the increase in player accuracy, the game is now even more responsive and accurate. AI players are more intelligent and aware of players around them. All 11 players on the pitch have improved AI and movement, making them more intelligent with their actions and reaction to the ball, as well as their interactions with other players. This creates better, more realistic gameplay.
The new graphics engine for FIFA is known as Frostbite 3. Frostbite 3 delivers ultra-realistic visuals, with a next-generation lighting engine that further catapults the world into the next-generation era. Players will also be able to manipulate the ball with a new and improved “Touch of Magic” system, as well as a new contextual “Predator Boost”, which allows players to set up more advanced goal scoring opportunities.
