aim the ifv at the center of the base to the north and send in a sniper to take out a guard. then, follow him up and take over the gun. deactivate the rocket and go out through the door. go into the next room to the west. use the recon and order two engineers to build an elevator, position it next to the door and use it to access the next sublevel. once you’re there, turn around, snipe the two guards in the hall and go into the office to the south. get rid of the guard and take control of the artillery. snipe the two guards in the next room. blast the door and grab the hostage in the room and head into the next room. take out the two guards with the m60, snipe the hostage and snipe the three remaining guards.

this game is still popular on the battlefield today. i remember being in a server, playing it and it was like the enemy was asleep. the game is that good. the game play is simple, but very addicting. the best thing about red alert 2 is that it’s multiplayer, so you can play online against friends, enemies, and even bots. the animations are smooth and the sound effects are great. the game can be played on a variety of systems from the original cd, to the windows versions (depending on how old the system is), to the current mac os x and windows xp versions. i haven’t found a version that doesn’t work, so you should have no problems playing red alert 2 online.
