It was announced that the JMSDF would procure a 300,000 to 350,000 dollar ASW helicopter multi-purpose ship named Joho. It will be larger than Luda class destroyers. The ZKJ-4 is a copy of Thomson-CSF TAVITAC system (TCS).
The first Luda ships were sub-types of the Type 051 class, the hull was of a conventional design. A few years later came the Type 051Z/51DT ships. Later the Type 051G and G1/G2 (Type 051Z upgraded) followed. The 45,000 ton Wuhan is the largest Luda class ship ever built for the People’s Liberation Army Navy. In 2001 the Luda class replaced the aging and obsolete Wu class destroyers, as of today the Wuhan class are the backbone of the JMSDF.

Sometimes I would get the impression that she was more embarrassed than annoyed. From the Blue House, I went to a district of Shanghai where few people lived. I found my way to a place of alcohol, where the girls had a band playing that I had heard somewhere. I dragged a girl who was at the edge of her seat towards me and then turned around to see if anyone had noticed. They hadn’t. We danced around, and then I introduced her to the band. They spoke no English. I went to the side of the band and told the guy in charge to stop playing. I felt a bit awkward, but tried to act naturally. Suddenly the leader of the band, an eighteen-year old boy who looked like a schoolboy, stopped the music and came over to me. “You are a new student?” he asked, but before I could answer he said, “Come on, Luda will teach you.” So, I went to the studio with him and waited for Luda to find me. She seemed distracted and I wondered what she was up to. Suddenly, she gave a big smile. “You came. I am sorry to make you wait. I was talking to Qiu and he thought it was time for you. So, come on.” I followed her to where Qiu was and we began the warm up. Luda prepared me to dance but I had no choice, I had to go with what she suggested. She switched on the lights and asked me to go over the first few steps. I was in the background, but I heard her say, “Stand like this, lean into the arm. Look him in the eyes.” I didn’t understand the words but I could feel a pressure as though someone was training a gun on my head. My heart was pounding, but my mind was calm. I could feel the throbbing through my arms and legs. Soon I was moving across the stage, mimicking the moves Luda had called out to me. She stood to the side, as if in a matter of course. 5ec8ef588b
